Barranca 2016

Kuhlman Cellars

One of Kuhlman's signature blends, "Barranca" references the palisades of the Cap Rock high plateau in the High Plains of Texas. The style of this blend is robust with some delicate notes, intended to bridge the lighter style of Kuhlman's signature blend & little brother "Alluvé," with the tannin bomb & bigger brother blend "Kankar."
Experience Notes of cherry, dried sage, blackberries, plum black pepper and violets. On the palate, pronounced black fruits like blackberries, plums, and black cherry with a slight cranberry tang lingering in the background.
